No Plans for Failure - New ORF Documentary on October 20th

The starting point for the documentary is the current Synod on the Family called by Pope Francis to examine among other things the question of allowing divorced and remarried Catholics to partake in the sacraments. An age-old controversy: While some finally expect to see the Synod become more liberal, others feel the issue is irrelevant compared to the imminent collapse of the classic family structures. The film sheds light on the different positions: With Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, Family Bishop Klaus Küng, theologian Johanna Rahner, Reverand Norbert Rodt (parish Gersthof) and couples who are happy in a second marriage and do not consider themselves to be "failures" at all.
