Began as an electrician and dolly driver for film and television, and later worked as production assistant, assistant director, location manager and production manager.

1994

Co-founder and Managing Director of Neue Sentimental Film GmbH in Vienna.

2000 to 2011

CEO of Neue Sentimental Film AG Austria. Producer of several hundred TV spots.

Born in 1968 in Vienna. Graduated from secondary school in the Vienna 2nd district

Married, two children.

1982 - 1987

Degree in Reproduction and Printing Technology from the Austrian Federal Education and Research Institute For Graphics, Vienna, 14th district, with annual summer internships in Bern and Biel. Worked for 3 years afterwards in prepress for Seitenberg printing company.

1990 – 1992

1990 Began working in advertising. First as Account Manager for the advertising team Die Drei, and afterwards as Partner and Managing Director at Hiermann & Partner for two years. In addition to the traditional advertising business, he also produced international rock & pop concerts, including Rod Stewart/Vienna, Joe Cocker/Wels, Sting/Linz, AC/DC Graz, Michael Jackson/Vienna. 

1992 – 2000

Laying the foundation stone of the advertising agency CreativWerk in St. Pölten. Here his clients included Neuman Aluminium/Lilienfeld, Coopers & Lybrand, Stauss-Perlite International, Plasser & Theurer, as well as the project for the design and realization of the “Family Card” for the Family Department of the Province of Lower Austria and upper Austria.

1998 - 2000

CEO and Partner of Austrianonlines ISP. The company will be purchased on April 1st, and will focus on the design, strategic planning, planning and coordination of extensive online concepts for everything from simple websites to CRM databases.

 

 

2000 - 2006

Returned to Vienna from St. Pölten Feb. 1st, 2000 to become Budget Director and Board Member of Euro RSCG Vienna, where his clients included AVL List GmbH, AVL Ditest, ESTAG/Graz, IPA+/ Vienna, EVOLARIS e-business competence center/Graz. In April 2006 he was responsible for establishing the DTP Unit “Europaint”.

2006 – 2007

Expansion of Pressel Direct Mail Group with production sites in Vienna and Munich, Managing Director of the direct marketing and advertising agency, lemongrass, and expansion at the Munich location.

1.4.2008 – 30.9.2011

Group Account Director at McCann Erickson, as well as MRM Unit Head - A unit of McCann Erickson. MRM will be realized and expanded as a digital unit on the basis of MRM international offices. Born and raised in Klosterneuburg near Vienna, high school, 4 semester studying political sciences at University of Vienna, marketing education, finally 2 year advertising academy.

1991 to 1995
Working locally for ad agency Lintas, then in regional jobs for GGK Occidental and BBDO Central Europe coordinating international clients and as strategic and creative consultant for the newborn agencies in Central- and Eastern Europe.

1996 to 1999
Move to Budapest to work as creative director for BBDO’s Budapest office responsible for clients such as Douwe Egberts coffee, HypoVereinsbank, Bayer and Knorr. From 1998 creative director at TBWA working on Citroën, Zsolnay porcelain and Absolut Vodka among others.

1999 to 2000
Graduation from Vancouver Film School, a comprehensive and highly practice oriented all round education with a personal emphasis on Directing and Art Direction.

2000 to 2008
Upon returning from Canada founding film production company C47 Films. Service production and production for numerous local and international commercials, documentaries and TV movies, among them brands like Jacobs, Davidoff, Renault, BMW, E-plus, Kitkat and Hanuta.

2008 to 2012
Departure from C47 Films shifting focus on his own directorial work. In cooperation with various production houses films for MKB Bank, Richter Gedeon, Dreher Beer, AXN Sony Pictures, Szentkirályi mineral water or Groupe Doux among others.
